The Upper Etowah river in Georgia is just north of Atlanta. It is probably one of the best rivers in North Georgia, as it has plenty of rapids, and a nice water fall with a 10 feet drop.It only takes about an hour to drive there from our house. In April we made one day trip on this beautiful river, with our river guides Betsy & Dave and one of their friends, Jim.
